Faculty of Business and Economics
is a modern and constantly evolving faculty that monitors trends in education and research. The Faculty offers all three levels of university study in Czech and English and has more than 5,500 applicants each year.
More than a decade ago, the program was expanded to include informatics courses. Instruction is designed so as to be readily usable in practice, which enhances the quality of graduates and their professional abilities. Life at the faculty mostly takes place in the new Q pavilion, which is fully air-conditioned. The lecture halls are equipped with modern multimedia technology and the classrooms have access to leading-edge information and communication technologies.
PEF graduates find employment in management, trade, European institutions, the financial sector, public administration, and as information managers and designers of information systems.
In 2012 the staff of the Faculty of Business and Economics at Mendel University in Brno launched a research project within the 7th Framework Program with financial support from the European Commission and the Ministry of Education.
